APPS, Tech & More ...
| |
There are so many new technology products becoming available that can work for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. In fact, tech is a great place to tap their natural curiosity and engage children or adults who are not easily engaged. This department will explore and evaluate what's available out there. Having a little extra info will help you search for the right thing for a person with ASD.
ITunes has become a mammoth store filled with so many possibilities that you can become overwhelmed quickly. Here's the issue. Many APPS are free or very inexpensive. Trying those out doesn't require much commitment and it can be a lot of fun. Other APPS cost a bit more. We will try to provide reviews of some of the more expensive ones to help you with your searching and decision making. Prices are not listed here since that is an ITunes thing and they can change. But having a little more information will help you as you consider technology possibilities.
