Welcome to Autism Family Online

The goal of Autism Family Online.com is to provide practical, useable information to help families and educators improve the quality of life for those individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders who are in their care.

We recognize that because of the spectrum of Autism Spectrum Disorders, there will be a wide range of individual and family needs and challenges.  There is not one single treatment program or one best answer to meet the variety of individual needs.  Therefore, we will provide information that represents  a variety of programs, philopsophies, viewpoints and topics.

We believe that each family or educator or decision maker has a responsibility to evaluate and research specific options and information to determine their appropriateness for specific individuals.

With appropriate education and intervention, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders can learn the skills necessary to lead fulfilling lives and participate in life opportunitues.  Autism Family Online.com will provide support toward that goal.
